The Peace Statue Challenge links the inspirational Peace Statues at Treborth (at the Botanic Gardens, on the Wales Coast Path between the Menai Bridges) and Llanberis (by the National Slate Museum). Walkers, runners and cyclists are invited to follow any route between the statues in either direction and send in their photos and stories for inclusion on this website. Enjoy the beauty of North Wales and join with others from around the world who have held the Peace Torch at both locations and taken up the Peace Statue Challenge!
See our ABOUT page for more details – choose a safe route, know your limits, enjoy the challenge!
The Peace Statues are gifts to the community from the Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run, a global torch relay that embodies humanity’s universal aspiration for peace. Both statues depict the run’s founder, Sri Chinmoy, holding and passing on the Peace Torch.
